The location was very good, minutes away from the winter gardens. the price was reasonable. the staff communication was easy. It was cheap and cheerful (i appreciate that).
the tv would not tune in.

the guesthouse is undergoing refurbishment. there are many stairs and no rooms are on the ground floor. no bar or cafe is next to the hotel anymore, which limits on-site dining options.

The location WAS convenient, placing me steps away from various attractions. I found the bed quite comfy, a WELCOME respite after a day of exploring. It was also nice to have a private bathroom with both bath and shower. It really covered all bases.
i must say, the tv not working was a minor inconvenience. i WOULD have liked to unwind with it after a long day.
